Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@dreamevent.ai if you become aware of unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, share account credentials with non-authorized users, or use automated means to create accounts.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

Dream Event offers a free Starter tier and paid subscription plans (Personal, Pro, and Enterprise). Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends and will not be billed.

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on your selection. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as described below.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain full access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free Starter tier. Your event data is preserved and remains accessible on the Starter plan.

Price changes.We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Refunds. We generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@dreamevent.ai within 14 days of the charge.

4. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate event concepts, plans, vendor recommendations, budget estimates, and other content ("AI Output"). You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI Output is generated algorithmically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. It is provided for informational and planning purposes only.
• AI Output does not constitute professional event planning advice, financial advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional counsel.
• Vendor recommendations, budget estimates, venue suggestions, and timelines are AI-generated approximations. You are solely responsible for verifying accuracy, confirming availability, and making final decisions.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI Output.
• You should independently verify all critical information (vendor pricing, venue availability, regulatory requirements, safety considerations) before relying on AI Output for real-world events.

5. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

Your content.You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including event details, preferences, brand guidelines, and other input data ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service.

AI Output ownership. Subject to your ownership of Your Content, you may use AI Output generated by the Service for your personal or business purposes, including for commercial event planning. We do not claim ownership of AI Output generated specifically for you. However, similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users, and we do not guarantee exclusivity.

Our intellectual property. The Service, including its design, code, branding, documentation, and underlying AI models, is owned by Dream Event and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or AI models of the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service, except through our official APIs.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable burden on the Service or its infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any third-party rights.
• Use the Service to generate content that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activity.

7. Team and Organization Accounts

Some plans allow multiple users under a single organization account. The account owner or administrator is responsible for managing team members, setting permissions, and ensuring all users comply with these Terms. If you are invited to join an organization account, the organization administrator may have the ability to access and manage content created within that organization.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers for functionality including payment processing (Stripe), authentication (Google OAuth), email delivery (Resend), and AI processing (OpenAI). Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. For material feature removals affecting paid subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice when reasonably practicable.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DREAM EVENT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dream Event and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any event you plan or execute using information obtained through the Service.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination by contacting support@dreamevent.ai. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may close your account before the changes take effect.

16. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dream Event regarding the Service, superseding any prior agreements. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
